Glen Ritter DVM
Dr. Ritter is licensed to practice veterinary medicine in the State of Louisiana. He is the secretary \ treasurer and the past president of the local veterinary association, NWLVMA. He is a member of the state and national associations, LVMA, AVMA, and AAHA. Dr. Ritter also is the D.A.L.E. Area Expert in Pain Management, (now called E.L.I.T.E., Experts Leading the Industry through Education). He graduated from the LSU School of Veterinary Medicine in 1986. He has two daughters, two dogs, and three cats.
Management
Christina Rinaudo
Christina came to Riverside in November of 1998, and became our office manager and lead assistant in November of 2005. When she is not working in the office she is assisting in surgery or caring for hospitalized pets. She has completed most of her requirements to become a veterinary technician. Christina is married and has a very energetic son. She also has five cats and one dog. When not at work, she loves to cook, travel with family and spend time at the lake.
Ashley Ritter
Ashley has worked at Riverside since 1998. She became our business manager in 2010. When not overseeing the daily finances, she works very closely with clients scheduling appointments and providing education on the care of their pets. Ashley also assist the doctor in the examination, treatment and surgical suites. Ashley likes to rescue pit bull dogs and has three that have become permanent in her life. Ashley graduated from Centenary College in 2005.

Christina Rinaudo
Christina has been with us since November 16, 1998. In addition to being office manager, she also assists with surgeries, dentals, and treat of hospitalized patients.
Ashley Ritter
When not in the business office is also assisting in all areas of the hospital, running laboratory test, assisting in radiology, surgery and in treatment of hospitalized and out patients.
Kennel
Zilda Bordelon
Zilda has been a part time volunteer at Riverside since 1989. She became a full-time animal caretaker February 2004. She works behind the scenes, keeping the pets cared for. She also oversees kennel management assignments. Zilda has a son and a daughter. She spends all her free time with her best friend and family.
Karin Heilman
Karin has been with Riverside since 1989, (brief leave of absence 2009-2010). She became full-time in 2004 and shares kennel management duties with Zilda. She also works behind the scenes making sure everyones pets get the attention they need. She has two sons and a daughter. She graduated from LSU-S with a Sociology degree in 2006. Karin spends her spare time with her best friend and family.
Grooming
Nikki Fussel
Nikki was brought to Shreveport-Bossier area because of her husband’s career in the Air Force. She previously worked part time at her mother’s grooming business in Florida while also taking care of her three sons. We were very lucky to get Nikki into our business, she really strives to make the pet look its best and to make the owner happy.
Jason Salpietra
Jason is currently our resident pre-veterinary student, he assist part time in grooming as well as an assistant with the doctor or any other duties as requested. Jason has 2 rescue dogs and 2 rescue cats. He enjoys work, school and free time with his girl friend.
